During these uncertain times with Coronavirus, we have had to cancel all our planned events for the foreseeable future. When normality returns, they will be posted here. Until then, our Bookshop and Charity Shop are open as normal but with social distancing and Covid procedures in place. We would be delighted to welcome you!
The Community Hub shop opened at the end of April 2021 in the old Bank of Scotland building across the street from the Bookshop. The pandemic has pushed back the timetable slightly but we are hopeful that we will soon be able to utilise the whole building as planned.
From the end of May 2021, most of our clients will hopefully be back within the Training and Activities programme. Our staff will help them adjust to this new “normal” with different activities and locations that ensure their safety and well-being throughout. This, of course, includes their new base in the Hub which will be a fantastic new opportunity for learning new skills and meeting lots of new volunteers.
If you are interested in volunteering in the new Community Hub, please come in and speak to us. We would be delighted to welcome any help, from a couple of hours to a whole day and from sorting clothes to collecting furniture donations or running courses in our upstairs rooms or workshop.
